What we collect and why
- Design Studio brief: your name, email, optional phone number, and the details of the piece you describe. We use it to reply to you and discuss your idea. Lawful basis: your consent, and steps you ask us to take before a possible commission.
- Contact form: your name, email and message, used to reply. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Page counts: we count how many times each design page is opened, per day. We do not record IP addresses or set cookies for this.
Retailer links
When you click a "View at" button we add one to an anonymous daily click count for that product. We do not record your IP address, a cookie or anything that identifies you. The retailer and Awin handle your data under their own privacy notices once you arrive.
Who sees it
Our staff, and our hosting and email providers acting for us. The server is in the UK. We share your brief with a partner jeweller only if you agree to go ahead, and we record that agreement first. We do not sell your information.
How we use briefs beyond your enquiry
We may count briefs in anonymous totals (for example, how many ask for rose gold) to decide which designs to draw next. Totals contain no names or contact details. We do not use your brief or name to train AI models.
How long we keep it
Enquiries you decline or that we close are deleted after 12 months. All other enquiries are deleted after 24 months. Contact messages are deleted after 12 months. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to our use of it, or withdraw consent, by emailing us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
